What You Are Expected To Do
Before Service:
Arrive 20–30 minutes early.

Pray briefly before students arrive. Ask God to help you see students the way He sees them.
During Arrival:
Greet every student warmly and intentionally.
Smile. Make eye contact. Use their name if you know it.
Introduce yourself to students you don’t recognize.
For New Students:
Identify and warmly welcome first-time guests.
Give them a Youth Gift Bag.
Have them complete registration (contact info).
Briefly explain what to expect during youth service.
Assign a student helper to walk them to:
Bathrooms
Youth room
Prayer cross
Snack & drink area
Personally introduce them to 1–2 other students.
For Returning Students:
Welcome them back by name.
Remind them to check in.
Ask a short intentional question (“How was your week?” “How can I pray for you?”).
Student Helpers:
Grab 1–2 regular students to help greet.
Model hospitality for them.
Encourage them to introduce themselves to new students.
The Heart Behind It
Some students have never attended church before.
Some are nervous.
Some are hurting.
Some are only here because a parent made them come.
Your warmth may be the first glimpse of Jesus they experience.
Remember:
God is sending students here on purpose. This is not random. This is ministry.
